• Accidental Innuendo: The blurb's description of the pups as "frisky", given the term's more sexual connotation nowadays.
• Moment of Awesome: Fritz swimming a flooding river and anchoring the other puppies' raft in Camp Barkalot.
• The Woobie:
  • Rosie. She's thrown out of a car in her first appearance, then makes a long trip to get back to her owner, only to find her house condemned and empty.
  • Amber too. She's been so coddled by her owner who treats her as a Mister Muffykins that she thinks other dogs are monsters, scratching at the door and screaming for her owner at the top of her lungs when she sees the rest of the cast, who just want to say hi to the newcomer. Not only that, but it seems like she hardly even knows how to be a real dog because she's treated more like a status symbol than anything else.
