Draco in Leather Pants: Dahlia. Gets away better than most examples with this being AU where she grew up in loving family and Iris(in canon) stated that she might not turn out the way she did is she had that.
Fanon: It's never made clear in canon whether Iris's surname is Fey or Hawthorne. The author takes the former as Canon.
Although it is justified in the story proper. Without the DL-6 incident happening, Morgan's first husband never divorced her. Since every woman raised in Kurain Village had the surname Fey, Phoenix decides it stands to reason that Iris was raised under that name as well.
Hilarious in Hindsight: Phoenix's line that people wouldn't want to watch "two lawyers flinging insults at each other" gets more funny not that Ace Attorney anime is being made.
Jerkass Woobie: Alternate!Phoenix, from what we heard of him, was actually an okay guy until some undefined "incident". If it's enough to excuse his actions or at least leave something to be redeemed is yet unknown.
Tear Jerker: The way Maya treats Phoenix. As justified as it is from her perspective you can't help but feel for our hero. And let's not forget Ema's death.
The Woobie: Canon!Phoenix. Stuck in a world where everyone he knows hates him and stuck prosecuting an innocent woman.
Canon!Phoenix becomes a different sort, but still a massive Woobie when it turns out Alternate!Phoenix was once somewhat loved by those around him, but now Canon!Phoenix has to deal with not being able to fill his counterpart's void. Most evident when he interacts with Iris.
