InAWorld where nobody sleeps, Drew Spencer tries to hold on to a job and his sanity. Drew is unable to use the pills known as "Z-Sup" which let everyone else stay awake 24 hours a day, due to an allergy. Being run ragged by a world without sleep and a society that seems to accept the weirdest of events without question, Drew is also being roped into something sinister going on behind the scenes of this bizarre world.

''[[http://www.powernapcomic.com Power Nap]]'' is something radically different from the writer Maritza Campos (previous comic: ''Webcomic/CollegeRoomiesFromHell''). The art is by Bachan who is known in the Mexican comic scene for [[http://produccionesbalazo.com/ Producciones Balazo]] (In Spanish only).

!!''Power Nap'' contains examples of

* CannotDream: Though it hasn't been explicitly mentioned yet, use of the Z-Sup essentially makes it so that the vast majority of people do not dream, though mostly as a side effect of not sleeping. [[WildMassGuessing What this means considering Drew's prophetic dreams is, as of yet, unknown]].
* CrapsackWorld: Though little has been seen at the moment, it would appear that, aside from (or perhaps because of) no one sleeping anymore, the whole world seems to be going insane. Not reacting the augmented reality ads, having two people to staple and then unstaple the same papers, blase acceptance of suicides and psychotic breaks. The mere fact that society reacted to a cure for ''sleep'' by making everyone work an extra eight hours is really all the proof you need that the world has gone wrong.
* DeadpanSnarker: One half of Token's job on the team, to look hot while making caustic remarks. [[note]] The other half is being AxCrazy.[[/note]]
* DynamicEntry: Drew returns to a conversation he'd left a page earlier, interrupting Cornelius by ramming him with a car.
* EpicFail: Drew's first performance as part of the dream team.
-->There are simply not enough points to deduct. They do not ''exist.''
* ExpressiveMask: Token's dream form has a bandana covering her eyes that changes design in every frame it's seen, hinting at her current mood.
* FantasticRacism: In a manner of speaking. Drew's inability to use the Z-Sup appears to draw more than a little negative attention. Case-in-point, people shying away from him asleep on the train, kids putting post-it notes on him asleep in the train again, and Wendy running out on their date when she realizes he's one of "''them''".
* GoingPostal: Drew [[KillItWithFire setting a desk on fire.]]
* GovernmentConspiracy: The police know there's real monsters appearing out of nowhere, but they're trying to cover it up.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Cornelius' real-world self. His dream self is still very much alive and doesn't really seem to hold a grudge aginst Drew for unwittingly summoning the thing that got him killed in the waking world.]]
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: Drew's arm falls off and the dream-demons deduct a few points...
-->"You guys are ''jerks''."
* {{Megacorp}}: "The Corporation," which manufactures the [[GovernmentDrugEnforcement mandatory]] sleep-replacement drug Z-Sup. It also appears to be slightly more helpful than most, as Drew's condition actually secures a paid position in their company to compensate for their Z-Sup basically making his life impossible to handle. Of course, this could simply be a court order.
* MissionFromGod: Either this or a DealWithTheDevil.
* MotiveRant: A non-villanous variation, [[http://www.powernapcomic.com/d/20160810.html provided by Drew to Cornelius' question of "what do you want?"]] Really just boils down to Drew wanting a normal/sane life, and a good night's sleep for once.
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: [[spoiler: Cornelius has at least two sets of razor sharp teeth behind his mask.]]
* MyBelovedSmother: The opening sequence is a nightmare about an EldritchAbomination who chases Drew while nagging him to carry an umbrella, eat more, get a haircut, call more often and [[IWantGrandkids give her grandchildren.]]
* OnlySaneMan: Despite his problems, Drew may be the most balanced one in the comic.
* PerpetualSmiler: Smiling Guy.
* PsychicDreamsForEveryone: Drew's dream at the beginning of the comic, where a monster hands him an umbrella, ends up being a little more literal than you may have originally thought.
* PuppyDogEyes: Drew '''[[http://www.powernapcomic.com/d/20130715.html does]]''' try. [[PunctuatedForEmphasis So. HARD.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: [[http://www.powernapcomic.com/d/20120213.html Go Drew.]]
* WeirdnessCensor: Drew is the only one troubled by an action movie ad [[RidiculouslyLoudCommercial crashing into a mall through the roof]] (other people shrug it off), and the only one at the office even to notice security dragging off a man having a psychotic episode.
* WorldGoneMad: On a realistic scale, funnily enough.
* YankTheDogsChain: Poor Drew.
* YourMindMakesItReal: the spider devices that allow for a super powered dream experience also makes any injury suffered in those dreams carry over to the real world.
