It's up to Drake and Daniel to reunite and work together to figure out what went wrong 5000 years ago!Can be read here
Animal Motifs: Lucy's is ladybugs; Rachel's is bunnies.
Non animal motifs: Dory's is moons and stars; Liz's is skulls and hearts.
Anime Hair: Drake and Daniel have pretty zany hair, alright!
Hair Antennae: With an antennae as long and zig-zaggy as Drake's, I won't be surprised if he ever uses it as a weapon.
Delinquent Hair: Derek would be a good example. Not even just the color choice, his hairstyle would make your grandma pull out her rosary and hide in her closet.
Chaste Hero: Derek doesn't quite get why Dory laughs at him when she sees him with Lucys clothes on, poor guy thinks he put them on backwards.
Classic Villain: From his evil laugh to his twisted perspective on mankind, Aleck Von Zander is a villain of villains.
Conveniently Empty Building: Averted, people can be seen inside the building the Ice Titan cut down. And in a later page, students are calling family to check on them and one is grieving over her sister.
Crippling Overspecialization: Art wise in the earlier chapters, characters are detailed and well drawn. Backgrounds, not so much, or at all.
Cute Little Fangs: They look cool on Drake, but they're more adorable than menacing on Derek.
Everything's Nuttier With Squirrels: Derek considers them food and used to chase after them in the cemetery, a certain squirrel in specific is not amused.
Good Wings, Evil Wings: Aleck von Zander is notable for having both a pair of angelic, and demonic wings. Though the angelic ones are smaller and very fluffy.
Humans Are The Real Monsters: Conversed by Aleck von Zander, and appears to be the reason for his Fallen Angel status, as he preaches that vampires were forced to protect something they didn't believe in.
I See Dead People: Lucy's eyes can only perceive heat signatures. As a consequence, she's able to see spirits.
Kamehame Hadoken: During the Beach Episode chapter, Derek attacks a demon Coconut-Crab with a volleyball. A move which Lucy describes as very powerful Volleyball spike technique called the Kame Ball. Named after the turtle-like shape the ball takes while in motion.
Our Vampires Are Different: Vampires are apparently a subdivision of demons rather than their own race, also notable for not having the standard weakness to the sun, and actually wanting to be in its light.
Shout Out: the comic has a few of these here and there. However, the Beach Episode chapter is chock-full of them. Can you spot them all?
Technicolor Eyes: Lucy has these, not in regard to her actual eye color but her heat signature vision - that being black (coldest), orange (warm), and white (hottest).
Three-Point Landing: Derek does this when he's first seen by the girls up close.
Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Being teleported in a gust of light from a cemetery to her dorm room doesn't seem to faze Lucy in the slightest. Averted later on when she discusses it with Rachel and Dory.
Wholesome Crossdresser: Played with when Derek dresses in Lucy's clothes after his first shower in months. Since Lucy threw out his old clothes in order to keep people from associating him to the Ice Titan's attack, she decided that it was a good idea to lend him her t-shirt and pants. Just until they go to Cool Topic to get him actual (emo) boy clothes.
