LaLaLaDemaCia
is a series of CGI videos depicting the hilarious misadventures of characters from the game
League of Legends. The videos are all about 5 to 6 minutes in length, and very professionally done, being fully voiced (in Chinese, but with both Chinese and English subtitles), with good animation, sound effects, and music. They contain many in-jokes about playing styles, in-game abilities, lore, and memes.
This game contains examples of:
- A-Cup Angst: Katarina and Kennen, though we later learn it was a subversion when faced with Caitlyn.
- Art Evolution: Season 2 has more refined models and animation than Season 1.
- Blood Brothers: Tryndamere, Master Yi, and Xin Zhao become these.
- Blood Knight: Pantheon wishes to join the League to prove that his village is made of warriors. And to vent his anger about Leona joining the League.
- Butt Monkey: Xin Zhao, mostly.
- Buxom Is Better: The guys' reaction to Sona.
- Character Tiersinvoked: Many jokes regarding it. A hilariously fake one is used to resolve the conflict at the end of season 1.
- Epic Fail: Several times.
- Face Fault: Happens at least twice per episode.
- Face Palm: 5:46
"Oh, god, you pissed off Annie." - Gender Flip: Kennen. Or so he wants you to think.
- Hypocritical Humor: In episode 1 of Season 2, Ahri is wishing to find a man who wants her for more than just her looks. In episode 2 she's... trying to seduce Wukong. What.
- Jiggle Physics
- Lemony Narrator: Ezreal in the beginning of some episodes.
- Lost in Translation: Xin Zhao becomes a lot funnier if you know that "daisy"*
Or, rather, the word translated as "daisy" in the subtitles
is a Chinese euphemism for "anus". - Male Gaze: Especially with Sona.
- Offscreen Moment of Awesome: The battles in Jarvan's ult.
- Paper-Thin Disguise: Leona wears a mask that covers only the lower half of her face so that she won't be recognized. No one is fooled.
- Spin Attack: An entire episode about it, naturally entitled "Spin to Win".
- Sexy Walk: Katarina.
- Theme Tune: The show's ending theme, LaLaLaDemaCia
. - Training Montage: Between Pantheon and Leona.
- True Love's Kiss: The title of Season 1 Episode 7.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Despite being featured prominently in the first few episodes, Pantheon disappears without any mention.
- He's back in Season 2, Episode 4.
- Brick Joke: The same happens to Kennen, except he randomly reappears in one of the last scenes without any explanation.
- Would Hurt a Child: Gangplank kicks Annie around. Don't worry, he gets his. There are also the two purple minions that attempt to corner Annie...
