''Elemental Goddess'' is a {{fanime}} and ''Anime/SailorMoon'' FanFilm created by Website/{{Youtube}} user [[http://www.youtube.com/user/diamant88 diamant88]]. The show is about 5 girls who have been given special rings by Mandana, the Goddess (in name only, it seems) of Virtue/Goodness, in order to transform and save the planet from the evil (partly) alien group known as the "Demonic 5", who are wrecking havoc in a nameless [[UsefulNotes/TheMiddleEast Middle Eastern]] country. Basically, it's your standard MagicalGirl fare with schizophrenic plots and the potential for a lot of racial faux pas and awkward looking animation.

Episodes of the show can be found [[http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=6D8F47192009EFB6 here.]] NicoNicoDouga [[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3188600 mirrors]] [[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3189264 of]] [[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5821516 the]] [[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5821816 episodes]] [[http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10693765 also]] exist.

!!This fanime contains examples of:

* AerithAndBob: Jessica, Tina, Loretta, Stephanie...''Mandana,'' ''Maryam...''
* AnachronicOrder: Somewhat. The "[[VerySpecialEpisode Special Episode]]", which was uploaded smack-dab in the middle of the ''second'' episode, reportedly takes place between the fourth and fifth episodes. [[DeadFic Only two full episodes were ever finished.]]
* AnimationBump: During transformation sequences and attacks...because they were traced.
** The second half of Episode Two also qualifies.
* BlindIdiotTranslation: the deleted Wikipedia article gives "Chikara no Ikari" as the Japanese title for the first episode, "Power of Anger". The words are in the wrong order - it should be "Ikari no Chikara".
* ButtMonkey: Mandana appears to be one.
* CallingYourAttacks
* ChristmasCake: Mandana, who is ''41 years old''. (A bit justified though, since she can be as immature as her teenage charges and ''wears a freaking princess dress in public''.)
* CrossOver: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YHGppSUp0s Jessica and Sailor Moon]]
* DeadFic: Apparently.
** Averted, Episode 3 is up.
* ElementalPowers:
** Jessica--PlayingWithFire. Would later become LightEmUp.
** Stephanie--MakingASplash
** Nadine--She's ''supposedly'' DishingOutDirt, but her attacks/transformation actually suggest GreenThumb
** Susan--AnIcePerson
** Tina--ShockAndAwe
** Mandanna/Amrita--[[ThePowerOfLove The Power of Goodness/Peace]] respectively.
* ElsewhereFic
* {{Expy}}: Jessica, who is pretty much [[Anime/SailorMoon Usagi]] with shorter hair.
** Nearly all of the Demonic 5 are as well. Queen Sheeva = Queen Beryl, Shaboo = [[MazingerZ Archduke Gorgon]], Ms. Cheyenne = [[Manga/InuYasha Kagura]], Raphiel = [[Anime/CuteyHoney Freddy Claw]].
* EyesAlwaysShut: Monique only opens her eyes twice.
* [[FallenHero Fallen Heroine]]: Saideh and Gyspy
* FlatCharacter: Try to describe Tina, Nadine, Stephanie, and Susan's personalities without the help of the [[http://deletionpedia.dbatley.com/w/index.php?title=Elemental_Goddess deleted wiki entry.]] (Yes, the creator tried to give his fanfiction a Wikipedia entry.)
* FrillsOfJustice
* GoodIsNotNice: Mandana, Queen of Goodness, is rude and bitchy towards others (most of the time it's uncalled for), is immature as her teenage charges, opted to run away from a restaurant when she saw she had no money as opposed to work off the bill or something (and we never do find out if she paid them back later), and is just a rude woman in general.
* HairFlip: Gypsy does this. In the video "Gypsy's Revelation," it's this that clues Stephanie and Susan as to who the random girl approaching them is.
* IDoNotOwn: "REMARK: ''Anime/SailorMoon''-fanmade! That means there's no originality in it! It's just for entertaining and NOTHING else."
* InformedAbility: According to the wiki, Jessica has "one of the purest hearts." You would never come to that conclusion by watching her.
* InformedFlaw: Mandana says that Jessica always becomes "incredibly arrogant" after winning a battle. Thing is, we only saw her win ''one'' battle before. However, given how there's about two episodes made so far, it might not be the case.
-->'''[[WebVideo/{{Retsupurae}} Chip]]:''' "Yeah, like that ''one'' time. That ''one time ever.''"
* LazyArtist: A confusing case. Starts off badly, with lots of OffModel animation. Then, [[AnimationBump there's a huge improvement in quality halfway through episode two]]. ''Then,'' the animator took a year-long hiatus, and announced he didn't have time to animate. From now on, episodes will use ''still shots''.
* LethalChef: Jessica
* LimitedAnimation: '''And how!'''
** The "animator" has said that future episodes ([[DeadFic yeah, right]]) will use still shots. ''Still shots.''
* MagicalGirl
* MagicalGirlWarrior
* MentorOccupationalHazard: Mandana's mentor from her OriginStory gets killed at the start of episode 3.
* MoodWhiplash: In the special episode, the TokenTrio are once again bickering amongst themselves, the BigBad acting thoroughly embarrassed, zany music is playing...and then he ties all three girls to a tree and sets it--oh, no, the area around them on fire, and the mood instantly sobers.
** Hmm, this seems like a pretty unremarkable MagicalGirl {{fanime}}...wait, are they talking about ''Islamic fundamentalism?''
* MostFanficWritersAreGirls: Averted. Would you actually believe the creator is ''a guy?''
* {{MST}} / WebVideo/{{Retsupurae}}: Done by Chip Cheezum and General Ironicus [[http://chipandironicus.blip.tv/file/4196009/ here]], [[http://blip.tv/file/4287031 here]], and [[http://blip.tv/file/4317873/ here]].
* {{Mukokuseki}}: All of the characters, except for the villains, look Caucasian... even through the show takes place ''in the Middle East''. (The only indication of this is the Farsi on some of the buildings, the mosque that Jessica falls into in Episode 2, a nearly throw away mention of Mt. Damavand (an active volcano and the tallest mountain in Iran), and the abayas that only the 2 diehard [[UnfortunateImplications (and evil)]] female Muslim characters wear. Otherwise, the city just looks like a traced version of [[Anime/SailorMoon Azabu Juuban]].)
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: PlayedForLaughs, Of the "What have I created" side, uttered by Dark Shadow after he sees the Fundamentalist Scouts bickering. Complete with {{Facepalm}}.
* NothingCanStopUsNow
* OffModel: It's pretty easy to tell which scenes were drawn from scratch and which are just recolors of scenes from ''Anime/SailorMoon'' or other MagicalGirl shows.
** The Super Transformations seem to be independent of screenshots.
* OneOfTheKids: Mandana, who's not much more mature than the teenagers of the cast.
* OriginalCharacter: Everyone on the show.
* PantyShot: Mandana gets one in the second episode, and Jessica gets one in her [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgoQdM1zPCA Super Transformation.]]
* {{Plagiarism}}: As previously mentioned, about 50% of the animation is traced directly from ''Anime/SailorMoon''. [[EpicFail Incredibly obvious]] when traced footage is shown [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yxIbu15Cfc side-by-side]] with [[OffModel the rest of the footage]].
* PowerCrystal: The villains know where it is. But they don't just go and get it because [[IdiotPlot they need to kill the goddesses, who don't seem to know about it but will try to stop them anyway, first.]]
* [[RecycledInSpace Recycled]] [-[[RecycledInSpace IN SPACE!]]-]: ''Anime/SailorMoon'' [-IN AN UNIDENTIFIED MIDDLE EASTERN COUNTRY!-]
* RichBitch: Monique is an ''attempt'' at one, anyway.
* SailorEarth
* SecretKeeper: Apparently Shirin is this for Jessica. [[FridgeLogic One has to wonder what the point is, though, due to the below trope.]]
* SecretPublicIdentity: All of the goddesses have titles (e.g. "Queen/Goddess of Fire", "Queen/Goddess of Virtue", etc.), but they just go by their first names in battle.
* [[{{Seers}} Seer]]: Mandana's childhood friend, Maryam, [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse whom Mandana never sees again after she accepts the call,]] [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot so we probably wouldn't have seen her again either.]]
* SixthRanger: Amrita, a fact that is [[SpoilerOpening spoiled in the opening theme.]] She doesn't appear when the girls are shown in uniform, but on a few occasions is seen wearing a "princess" dress and holding a staff.
** The Wiki implies that another girl would appear as well, using the power of [[BlowYouAway air.]] But that's the only information we ever got.
* ThatMakesMeFeelAngry: Jessica after being mocked by Mandana.
* TheDragon: Queen Sheeva, who is second banana to the "Grand Master".
* TokenTrio: The VerySpecialEpisode (see below) features a trio of villains that consists of a Christian, a Jew, and a Muslim.
* TransformationSequence
* TrailersAlwaysLie
* QuirkyMinibossSquad: The Demonic 5, lead by Queen Sheeva.
* VerySpecialEpisode: [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1dojPWoRXM This short]], which is about religious fundamentalists. Yes.
* WantonCrueltyToTheCommonComma: Some of the title cards.
* WhereTheHellIsSpringfield: UpToEleven. What ''country'' does this take place in?
* WorthyOpponent: The Demonic 5 seem to think Mandana as this.
* YankTheDogsChain: In episode 2, Mandana wins three-million dollars in the lottery, but her winning ticket gets soaked and the ink blurs so no one can read the numbers.
* YouHaveFailedMe: Whenever a MonsterOfTheWeek is defeated, four vines come from the ground, grabs said monster, a pit pops out from the bottom and there is a large sign saying "Game Over". The vines then ''drag the monster to what might be hell''.
** But wait...the MonsterOfTheWeek [[FridgeLogic is a demon, and Miss Cheyenne remarks in episode 2 that demons come from Hell]] [[CaptainObvious (duh),]] [[FridgeLogic so if the]] MonsterOfTheWeek [[FridgeLogic is dragged back to Hell...they're just being sent back home.]] Pretty tame, far as punishments go.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Dark Shadow to the Fundamentalist Scouts after he sees them bickering amongst each other.
