Dick Figures is an animated web series created by Ed Skudder & Zack Keller (previously employed by Pixar, Jim Henson Company, Microsoft, and McDonald's advertising) about two best best friends named Red & Blue. It debuted on YouTube on November 18, 2010 and is currently produced by Mondo Media (Happy Tree Friends) and animated by Six Point Harness (first season of Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!). To date, it is the one of the most watched animated series on YouTube ever. It’s more awesome than a supernova wrapped in bacon. From the mundane to the magical, the world of the series combines off-the-wall action, absurd comedy, filmic references, mythical creatures, adorable animals, an eclectic soundtrack, lots of explosions, and a cast of colorful characters living out their lives in complete acceptance of the insanity surrounding them. Yet at the adrenaline-powered-blood-pumping heart of it all, the show is just pure fun.The Movie is currently in progress. Thanks to the generous donations of viewers and the help of Kickstarter, the movie achieved it's base goal of $250,000 on July 17th, 2012. At it's current rate, the movie will be approximately 72 minutes long. The basic plot of the movie is the origins of Red as an alien, as shown in the episode "First Day Of Cool". Several secrets will be revealed and the adventure will be taken to levels unheard of.
Camp Straight: Lord Tourettes. He's extremely frilly and loves flowers and soft fuzzy things, but also tends to act even randier then Red towards women.
The Casanova: Red- in the most hilariously offensive way possible. His "charms" don't always work though, specifically when he's too drunk to form coherent advances.
Flanderization: Red, if you can believe it. In the first season, he comes across as a Jerkass who likes getting drunk, hitting on women and has an attention span somewhere between uneducated and Cloud Cuckoolander. Fast forward to season 3 and Red has become a near-Ax Crazy psycho, snorting drugs on a regular basis, bangs more chicks than someone with his personality should even be able to wink at, has ADHD and an alcohol intake that should see him dead on more than one occasion, and somehow has supernatural kung-fu abilities and chi powers (though this could be explained by the movie implying that he's an alien, yet another flanderizing step).
Gag Boobs: All skinny girls have big bouncy boobs. The one fat girl, Purple, has small saggy boobs.
Red Oni, Blue Oni: Red and Blue, of course. Red is a crazy, chaos-creating, fun guy who's kind of a jerk. Blue is an uptight, irritable, usually serious guy who makes frequent facepalms due to Red's shenanigans.
Angst Nuke: Blue/Bloser invokes a purely self-destructive variant on Bangers after Mash is killed.
Auto Tune: Red sings this way when he swallows a bee in the first episode, "A Bee or Something". Pops up again in "Bath Rhymes", and again in "Losing Streakers."
Hell, the bee itself talks like this.
Bad Date: Blue has one in "Trouble Date," because Red shows up with HIS date and ruins Blue's.
Big Eater: Red decides to go back in time solely because he wants eat an entire dinosaur.
Brainless Beauty: Actually subverted with Stacy. In "Modern Flame War 3", it's revealed she works as an internet technician.
Even more than that, "Robot Frog" reveals that she used to be completely straight-laced, going to med school while simultaneously holding down three jobs, in fact. Her desire to do something crazy for once spontaneously turned her into the party girl we all know her as.
Brick Joke: In "Losing Streakers", Red forces Blue to go to Sal Sagev to win their rent money. After collecting their ridiculous amount of winnings, Red screams "VIVA LAS VEGAS!" and drives to the actual Las Vegas.
At the end of "Sweary Christmas", pausing the video right after Red's craps in the fireplace shows the force of the explosion ripped off Lord Tourettes' face.
In "Fang Angels", there are frames of Pink with nude breasts at around 1:06.
Hurricane of Puns: The battle banter between Red/Batman and Earl Gray in "The Fart Knight Rises". Blue/Bloser briefly joins in, much to his own confusion.
Improbable Aiming Skills: In Modern Flame War 3 Red shoots the trigger of a shot gun he threw at a Mook for a head shot.
Improbable Weapon User: Earl Gray fights with cups of tea and a diamond-encrusted monocle.
In "Zombies and Shotguns", Red(unintentionally) kills a zombie with a bag of chips.
Informed Attractiveness: According to "Modern Flame War 3" Stacy apparently has "the perfect boobs."
Insistent Terminology: A point of contention near the end of "Butt Genie", where Red and the Genie have a disagreement about what word describes the number of wishes they had accumulated. The Genie says that they had a "fuckton", while Red believes they only had a "shitload".
Kamehame Hadoken: Red wins the fight in "Kung Fu Winner" using this.
Kill It with Fire: Blue takes out a swarm of zombies by shooting a flammable bottle of perfume, engulfing the zombies in a ball of flame. Except that the sprinkler system then goes off, dousing the zombies and leaving them perfectly fine.
Nice Hat: Lord Tourettes' cone hat. It's also a Hat of Power; losing it makes him incapable of cursing, as seen in "Lord Tourettes", where it turns a Mall Santa into a rather Bad Santa.
Nigh Invulnerable: A bag of chips in "Zombies & Shotguns." Makes about as much sense in context.
Painting the Medium: In "Freshman 15", Red has a number above his head that reads how many freshman girls he's had sex with. The fifteenth girl asks him about the number before he has sex with her.
Pixellation: In "Fang Angels" you can see Pink's breasts blurred out for a millisecond, even though you could see uncensored breasts in the previous episode. This is either because Pink had actual areola, while the earlier girl had just dots, or it's just a joke.
Prequel: "First Day of Cool" tells how Red and Blue met, along with several other characters.
"Robot Frog" appears like a normal episode... then several occurrences point to this occurring just hours before "A Bee or Something". Blue is talking to his girlfriend Stacy, who became a party slut after she breaks up with him. Raccoon is fighting a robot frog which causes him to be evicted by Mr. Dingleberry. Red swallows another bee but it's actually the first bee. The final scene was the first scene in "A Bee or Something".
Red Eyes, Take Warning: In a sense. Lord Tourettes gets these whenever his Hollywood Tourette's kicks in, though he's no more dangerous than usual, just briefly more dangerous-looking.
Running Gag: Every episode ends with a cut to the outro sequence in the middle of a sentence.
Additionally, Red can usually be spied levitating off the ground at least once an episode.
A continual phrase that shows up every so often is "Make That Ass Clap/Crap!".
Testosterone Poisoning: Red dips into this from time to time, the crowning example being "Modern Flame War 3", where he gets over a fence topped with barbed wire by eating the barbed wire.
Red: Whoo! All this manliness is making me thirsty. Better drinkmy own piss. *whips out canteen*
The gray-colored Broseph, who dies horribly in every episode he appears in.
Mr. Dingleberry has died several times throughout the series.
Title Drop: Done cleverly in "Pussy Magnet". Just before the cutoff, Lord Tourrettes gives the advice, "All you really need is a big DICK-". In the Stinger, Blue replies "Figures."
Weaponized Exhaust: Red's bean burrito gas serves as propulsions when jet packs aren't doing the job in "Attack of the Pwns".
What Happened to the Mouse?: They never do explain who Diablo Rojo really was in "The Red Devil". Though, knowing the series, it could very well have been Red all along.
