DSBT InsaniT is a 2012 web series hosted on YouTube by Vexusdylan (now known as VexusdylanDaSecond) (a regular member of The Blind Gamers Association) using a software program called Anime Studio. It's about a quirky cast of characters in a weird world where even the most mundane of scenarios have unexpected outcomes. It's mostly comedy, but also delves in action/adventure.The first two episodes can be watched here and, due to the creator's loss of access to the channel, the rest can be watched here. Be sure to check out the Special Info Episode ASAP, as it will give you a lot of insight on the DSBT world and the characters.
DSBT InsaniT contains examples of...
Aerith and Bob: Names range from Koden, Amber, and Portica to Bill, Andy, and Alex.
All There in the Manual: The Special Info Episode reveals a lot about the cast and the DSBT world that you would never know otherwise.
Amusing Injuries: Sometimes, but not nearly as often as you would think.
Another Dimension: Killer Monster resides in what is essentially Hell.
Art Evolution: While it still keeps its simplistic style, there is a BIG jump in quality from episode 1 to episode 2.
Aww, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Alex and Seth value each other as good friends, which is revealed in 'Beach Brawl'. Koden even jokingly teases them about it.
Beach Episode: The third episode, 'Beach Brawl'. Unlike most examples, stuff actually happens.
Big Damn Heroes: Pulled off by LISA of all people near the end of 'Beach Brawl'.
Waterfall Girl has a great one in 'The Camping Webisode'.
Big "NEVER!": Boo shouts this and then vanishes the first two times Portica orders him to turn Bill visible.
Big "NO!": In 'The Camping Webisode': Koden when he discovers the campsite was trashed, and Duck when Martha accidently pops Balloon.
Big OMK: Oh my Kismoto! Said in 'The Camping Webisode' by Martha when the accidently pops Balloon, and Seth when Fire Guy jumps at his face.
Big "WHAT?!": 'The Party': Said by Killer when Andy (and later, Fire Guy) tricks him.
'Beach Brawl': Said by Cell before Martha freezes him, and Kerry when Lisa makes a snide comment about Asia and Shawn.
'The Camping Webisode': There are a lot of instances here, but the biggest one is said by Andy when Koden reveals that Killer Monster was his pet.
Birthday Episode: Averted with 'The Party', much to Bear's confusion.
Blunt Yes: Done twice by Bear in 'The Camping Webisode' in response to Dave's snarkiness.
Body Horror: Killer Monster's description of what he does in his realm.
Borrowed Catchphrase: In 'The Camping Webisode', Cody uses a variation of Andy's "Tee-hee, ice puns." and Andy uses Martha's "Shut up and fight!" The second one is particularly amusing, since Martha usually says that in response to Andy's antics in a dire situation.
Call Back: Koden's party is referenced a few times, much to his dismay.
Catch a Falling Star: In 'Beach Brawl', Bill 2 does this to Whitney after freeing her from Cell, and Shawn does this to Asia after Lisa and Sand Snake knock her out of the sand.
Cat Fight: Portica and Killdra nearly get into one a couple times in 'Beach Brawl'.
Chekhov's Gun: Portica's strange purple Jell-O in 'The Party'.
Comically Missing the Point: Duck, after seeing Fire Guy get captured by Cell in 'Beach Brawl' exclaims "Holy shitoki mushrooms!...That was awesome!"
Convection Schmonvection: 'The Camping Webisode' reveals as long as they aren't touching it (and even then, due to an animation oversight), the cast can be by lava with no side-effects.
Curb-Stomp Battle: When Lisa and Sand Snake show up at the end of 'Beach Brawl', they kill Cell in one swift move.
Due to Boo being a Harmless Villain, Portica makes quick work of him.
Didn't Think This Through: Koden sending Killer to kick Balloon, Snake, Duck, and Bear out of his house.
Kerry impulsively throwing Shovel at Cell, who is frozen, thinking it'll shatter him.
Bear: Even I saw that one coming a mile away.
Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: After Killer Monster explains why they are no match for him, Alex makes a list of powerful beings he and the others have defeated.
Does This Remind You of Anything?: Snakes description of how he wants his weenie cooked, so much that Martha allows Andy to get away with his perverted 'Oh my!'
Dope Slap: Martha, and other characters on a rare occasion, does this to Andy a lot.
Double Take: Koden does this in 'The Camping Webisode' when Alex tries to repeat their interaction at his party.
Drama Bomb: Killer Monster's tale of what happened to him after Koden lost him.
Dramedy: It has its moments scattered here and there, altough according to Dave and Killdra, this series couldn't pull this off successfully to save its life.
Enemy Mine: Not so much 'evil' as they just dislike Koden and the others, but Dave and Lisa will help out when the Monster of the Week rears its ugly head.
Even Evil Has Standards: More like 'Jerkass', but Dave does not like murderers like Killer Monster, although, as Portica points out, that doesn't really mean much.
Insistent Terminology: From episode 3 onwards, the creator is not referred as 'Vexusdylan', but 'Vexusdylan DA SECOND'. Andy is usually the one to enfore this rule.
Koden: I am not about to let the THIRD thing with my friends...and Dave and Lisa...be ruined because of the monster...or douchebag...of the week messed everything up!
Noodle Incident: In 'The Party', Portica mentions to Koden how he used to borrow money from her and never paid her back, and Alex mentions how he would order pizza and share some with Koden, even though he never chipped in.
Not Me This Time: In 'The Camping Webisode', Koden tells Alex and Seth not to beat up Andy for Frets and Martha asks why, which he mistakes Alex for asking.
Not Quite Dead: Happens with Cell when Bill 2 destroys his brain, and Killer Monster when Dave crushes him with a huge stone slab.
Off Model: Its bound to happen due to the simplistic art style.
Off with His Head!: Kerry does this to Sand Snake when he and Lisa go after him, Asia, and Shawn.
Oh Crap: Asia and Koden when they find out Lisa and Sand Snake are about to crash Koden's party.
Koden when he finds out Killer Monster's name.
Oh Crap! There Are Fanfics of Us...: In 'Beach Brawl', Bear points out that there is going to be Rule 34 of Asia and Shawn. They are NOT pleased, especially Cody!
Once an Episode: Balloon dieing, Killdra suddenly appearing from behind Koden, and Andy saying "You're gonna give me X without the Y if you keep doing that." to Martha after she slaps him.
Only Six Faces: The only facial features that change between human characters is their eye color. Clothing style and accesories are used to give Distinctive Appearances.
Unexplained Recovery: Not only with Balloon, but also with the groups campsite in 'The Camping Webisode', which is heavily pointed out by Bill!
Bill: Wow. Despite the fact that everything was burned and broken, we STILL managed to recover all the food to its natural state, fix the tents without stitches or anything, and repair the flashlights!
Unspoken Plan Guarantee: In 'The Camping Webisode', despite the fact that the viewers are not told about it, Frog's plan to capture the opposing teams flag in Capture The Flag only has a 50% chance of success, according to Robo. Killdra's team ends up winning.
Vocal Evolution: Compare some of the character voices (such as Lisa's and Andy's) from 'The Party' to future episodes...
We Will Meet Again: Killer Monster warns Koden to watch his back before going back to his fiery realm in 'The Camping Webisode'.
What the Hell, Hero?: Koden and some of the others call Alex out on his...less than noble choices.
With Friends Like These: Koden says this in the Special Info Episode after Andy and Bill tease him.
Word Salad Title: The Special Info Episode reveals that DSBT stands for DylSchoolBlindTure, which is a mashup of two stories' titles.
