Zev/Xev needs to be angry for her Cluster Lizard powers to become active.
Some fans have noted that Xev seems to forget her Cluster Lizard super-strength at crucial moments, allowing ordinary humans to overpower her. This is because in order for her super-strength to kick in, she needs to get angry, like The Incredible Hulk. If she uses her powers when she doesn't seem angry, she's probably angry on the inside, summoning the right emotions but keeping them contained. When she forgets to use her powers, it's because she's thrown off by shock or fear, and those emotions weaken her powers.

790's robotic mind mixed badly with the Love Slave brainwashing.
There is no logical reason for a Love Slave to be designed to hate and try to murder anyone besides its mate. If anything, one would think that a Love Slave should welcome a polygamous relationship, and have no concept of jealousy, in order for her "owner" to have full control over her. The explanation for 790's behavior is that the Love Slave programing was not meant for a robot's mind. Because of that, the brainwashing went wrong in 790, causing some side-affects.
  • It's possible 790 imply doesn't have enough brain to contain the entire Love Slave programming so he functions with merely the obsession.

The Mantrid Drones are the Spiral Nemesis.

Giggerota is the result of a Love Slave transformation being corrupted, just like Zev.
Only instead of a Cluster Lizard getting into the machine in her case it was one of those satalite worms from Eating Pattern. Her wormlike tongue, obsession with eating people and simplistic mind are similar to what we saw from the worms.

Squish was Zev's child.
We saw the Cluster Lizards when they got onto the Lexx and they never went near the Cryo Chamber, and wouldn't have wanted to since they prefer hot places to cold. Zev is part Cluster Lizard, doesn't understand her new physiology and spends a lot of time watching Kai in his cryo pod. I suggest she ended up pregnant as a side effect of her transformation (maybe the original Cluster Lizard was pregnant when it was merged into her), laid one or more eggs without understanding it and simply never mentioned it since she didn't realise it was unusual.

Stan and Xev eventually became an Official Couple some time after the Series Finale.

The Divine Order wiped out most alien life in the universe that wasn't Insect.

Lexx exists because of Anubis and Oma Desala of StargateSG1

After the other ascended beings in the diner (from the episode "Threads") witnessOma willingly sacrifice herself to distract Anubis, they create a mini-universe andseal them away forever. Anubis is forced into an insectoid body (as appears in the Lexx episode "Giga Shadow") ,cosigned to a corner of the universe where no other life exists.

Oma, in a momment of hubris, tries re-creating humanity, but they are twisted distortions whom cannot ascend. Heartbreakingly she realizes a further part of her punishment: They will never be the humans she one knew and loved. She succeeds only in creating the Brunnen-G whom she instructs to guard against Anubis/The Giga Shadow. But Anubis creates more of his kind in secret thus leading to the Insect Wars. As the last survivor, furious at his loss, has hid in an asteroid, biding his time. (As seen in the flashbacks during the first series/movies)

Oma, fatigued, uses the last of her ascended power to create a separate universe where humanity can forever be safe as Anubis/The Giga-Shadow can not enter. However, many humans decide to not follow the Brunnen-G into her universe. She is further punished by the othersis to witness the humans here are biologically compatible with Anubis's essence. Furtheringher punishment for interference she witnesses the birth of the Divine Order: An entire cultworshiping him the god he always wanted to be in the other universe/plane of existance. Furthermore, she witnesses His Divine Shadow encourage his worshipers to pervert science into the abominations we see:

1: The Divine Assasins. Humans brought back from death to serve as mindless hunters, boundto His Divine Will. (Seen in 'I Worship his Shadow')

2:The Queen worm, Wyst. A gruesome twist on the Goa'uld parasite (seen in "Eating Pattern")

3:The Bad Carrots. A gruesome twist on the Replicators. (seen in Season four's 'Bad Carrot')

This final onslaught, in a BreakTheHaughty move forces Oma into a HeroicBSOD Hence, she withdraws and is the reason Lexx has no real BigGood. She finally comes to understand direct interference with so-called "Lowers" is asking for tragedy of the most epic proportions.

Stan, Xev, and Kai are led as an example by the other ascended beings in how to conduct matters using no direct interference. (The is also why they let Danial in the real world getaway with 'Rescuing' Jack O'Neill)

And so, Anubis's final punishment comes to fruition: An endless cycle of time which he isbarely cognizant. One where he rules supreme over 20,000 planets but is always destroyed.

While this may seen as overly harsh, remember that the "Others", which the Ancient Ascendantbeings MAY only be a small part of, were willing to let ALL life in the Milky Way be destroyed. Alternately, the verse maybe a punishment solely for Oma or Morgan Le Fay,Possibly the entirety of the Ascended Ancients. (seeing events inside the Lexx verse butunable to help)

Divine Executioners have their baser emotion left intact more so than the Assasins and derive pleasure from killing.

While Kai is fairly apathetic about fighting. Vlad seemed to relish it.

Lexx is set some time in the future of Red Dwarf
The below is all conjecture (you might even describe these guesses as wild):
  • The Earth we see in season 4 is not our Earth but some sort of recreation. Note that it was mentioned that the nearest star system to Water and Fire was seven light years away whereas the nearest star system to contemporary Earth is closer than that.
  • A version of Lister appears on this Earth, suggesting that the original Lister died and was probably reborn on Water.
  • Rimmer may have had a child at one point (probably getting someone pregnant during the brief period when he had taken the charisma virus) and Stanley was therefore his descendent.
  • 790's programming possibly contains some remnants of the original Talky-Toaster design (which got turned up to eleven by the love slave transformation). Somewhere along the line someone had also thought it would be a good idea to mix an element of Cat personality into the early love slave design.
  • Maybe Lister really did get around to jump starting the second big bang but somehow got the triplicator in the mix, thereby creating both dark and light universes.
  • Prince is actually The Inquisitor, who, rather than being erased from time was really replaced with an alternate version of himself (as the Inquisitor is known to do). So Prince is really just a self-repairing Simulant who (like the Inquisitor did) could change appearances to look like other people and who (like the Inquisitor) judged people on their worthiness by having them confronted by themselves. This version, rather than erasing people from history instead sent them to one of two planets for punishment or reward (also explaining why the populations of water and fire were so small relative to the trillions of people who've died; they weren't everyone, just those he'd gotten around to). At some point he lost his memory of his origins but not his abilities and ended up stranded on one of the planets.
