Yosumin! is a puzzle game developed by Square Enix. The player manipulates a 9x9 square grid of "yosumin", clearing them by highlighting rectangle "sets" with each corner being the same color. Each stage has different objectives to meet, whether clearing enough of certain colors, or making enough of certain kinds of sets.

The game was originally released as a Flash game, but was later ported to the Nintendo DS and the Xbox 360. You can also buy the game on Steam here.

Yosumin! provides examples of (under construction):

  • Awesome, but Impractical: Getting a screen-clearing Yosumin. Sure, you're wiping the entire board, and it's great if your target goal is removing a certain amount of colored Yosumin, but they aren't counted as Super Sets or Square Sets despite technically fitting the criteria for both, which means if the level goal revolves around sets, you're better off clearing almost the entire board.
  • Excuse Plot: In Yosumin! Adventure, the shrine's mosaic was broken into pieces and scattered across the land. A Yellowmin is assigned a mission by the Great Goldmin to retrieve the stained glass pieces.
  • New Game Plus: After defeating the Final Boss, Yosumin Adventure is automatically reset, any treats you gathered will remain with you, and the opening cutscene is changed to recall that the mosaic was broken and scattered by the Badmin.
  • Post-Final Level: The heavens above the main adventure map houses nothing but the last two bosses of the game.
