removing outdated Five Man Band tree

* FiveManBand
** Q-Force, how Qwark sees it:
*** TheHero: Qwark
*** TheLancer: Skrunch, Qwark's monkey
*** TheSmartGuy: Al, a master of electronics
*** TheBigGuy: Skidd, who has "nerves of steel"
*** TheChick: Helga, the "seductress"
*** SixthRanger: Ratchet
** And the reality:
*** TheHero: Ratchet, who does all the work (of course).
*** TheLancer: Clank
*** TheSmartGuy: Al and Skidd, Al helps with computer work while Skidd provides support with gadgets.
*** TheBigGuy: Qwark, who is actually pretty gung-ho on stopping Nefarious, even if he is making Ratchet do it.
*** TheChick: Sasha, the voice of Mission Control.
*** TeamPet: Skrunch, who does help Clank out now and then.
*** TheLoad: Helga, who does nothing except give you a ForcedTutorial that even Ratchet notes is a waste of time. Though she does give you a Hypershot and a Hacker.
*** SixthRanger Traitor: Courtney Gears

** The final upgrade to the [=RY3NO=]. Instead of shooting a volley of energy blasts, it simply obliterates everything onscreen. This creates a problem when you swing the camera, because when an enemy disappears from your view he isn't destroyed. Another letdown is that the upgraded version isn't useful against bosses. At least its ammo is cheaper than the Zodiac's.

* WakeUpCallBoss: Courtney Gears is no pushover when you fight her in the middle of the game. She won't allow you to replenish ammo at first, because the pre-battle cutscene will automatically trigger upon reaching the end of the corridor, and unlike with , Momma Tyhrranoid, and Klunk, ammo and nanotech creates only spawn whenever you enter a new stage.

* DuelBoss: The FinalBoss encounter with Dr. Nefarious starts out like this. But then it gets Subverted when the Galactic Rangers finally decide to show up midway through the fight. Either way, unlike Drek or Qwark from the previous two games, Nefarious is notable for taking Ratchet on with his own abilities without the need for a mech (at least until the second half) or siccing a mutant monstrosity on Ratchet.

Loads And Loads Of Characters is no longer a trope

** Just about everyone from the first three games is in the cinema watching the Secret Agent Clank movie at the end of the game. Then there is of course Slim Cognito who sells you or gives you some Megacorp weapons and even mentions Mr. Fizzwidget if you have an old save from the previous game.

** The Liquid Nitrogen Gun follows the staple hollywood version of the substance that instantly freezes enemies into brittle pieces of ice, which is nothing like how it actually works.

* AdamSmithHatesYourGuts: Heavily downplayed. While the game's weapons can still get rather pricey (particularly in regards to the R.Y.3.N.O.), especially during Challenge Mode, the game's bolt economy is far more generous here than in previous games. The cash gates have been completely abandoned (the only gadget that needs to be bought is the optional Gadgetron PDA), arena challenges, missions, and the Qwark Vid-Comics provide ample opportunities to quickly farm lots of bolts, and the OldSaveBonus helps mitigates the high prices for the new weapons and allows the old and otherwise pricey Megacorp weapons to be bought for free. Challenge Mode also generously carries over the Bolt Multiplier from Going Commando, making it even easier to build up bolts, and even in normal play, the Jackpot Crate allows for quick bolt farming as well. And as with the other two games, a handful of optional arena challenges aside, the game never forces you to buy a weapon, meaning a player can save up for a preferred weapon and pass up buying certain weapons until later.
