Marvel Land is a 1989 Platform Game by Namco.

The game takes place in the land of Coni, where all the different and fantastic races live together in harmony. In the middle of the land lies a mountain named "Peace", where the land's greatest attraction the titular Marvel Land sits. The Park attracts Conians around the land for its fun rides and attractions.

Things were generally smooth, until the wicked King Mole took control of the Underdwellers and set out to conquer the entire land and rule it for himself. No longer satisfied just ruling the Underworld. He captured and imprisoned the land's four fairy guardians, including the Princess Wondra within crystals.

King Mole's conquest of Marvel Land reached the ears of Prince Paco (Prince Talmit), a Dragon-kid, who immediately springs into action to stop Mole and save the day.

The game is a standard 2D platformer. You control Prince Paco on his quest to save Marvel Land. The game spans of sixteen stages, split across four worlds which contain four levels in each. Paco has access to useful powerups, such as clones of himself that he can swing to defeat enemies, dash boots that make Paco run faster, and dragon wings that allow him to jump higher as well as slow his fall. At the end of every round, Paco battles King Moles' minions in weird and wacky minigames.

The game was ported to the Sega Genesis in 1991, and the setting of the game would be visited during Project X Zone 2.

Has nothing whatsoever to do with that Marvel or that Marvel.
