Video Game: Deer Hunter Interactive Hunting Experience
Deer Hunter: Interactive Hunting Experience is a sports game and a hunting game. It was developed by Sunstorm Interactive, published by Wizard Works Software, and released for the PC on November 13, 1997. It was published by Mac Soft Games for the Macintosh system in 1998. It was developed by Morning Star Multimedia, published by Vatical Entertainment, and released for the Game Boy Color in 1999. This is the very first game of the Deer Hunter franchise.

This Video Game contains examples of:

  • Bambification: Averted. You're the one shooting the deer, and they are not sweet and innocent.
  • Nintendo Hard: First, you have to find the deer, and that entails wandering around the map hoping to stumble onto one. Then you must actually shoot and kill the deer, which is not as easy as it sounds.
  • One-Hit-Point Wonder: Averted. Those deer will not go down in one hit.
