Battle Camp is a puzzle MMORPG where you collect Mons (that don't like being called monsters). While a review says it is Pokémon and World of Warcraft's love child, it is actually inspired by Puzzle & Dragons.

- Captain Ersatz: Some of the Mons range from similar, to blatant copies of certain Pokemon. Wotter is a Water type otter with scallops, much like Oshawott. Oshawott was also given the
Fan Nickname of Wotter before it got its official, localized name.- Ads show characters inspired by Ash, Blastoise, Charmander, Pichu, Ivysaur, Eevee, Mudkip, Cubone. The logo resembles a Pokeball.
- Reference Overdosed: Random monster comments include Shout-outs to Monster.com, The Monster Mash, and Twilight. Giant Crog and Giant Mudball reference Budweiser ads.
