Welcome to the wolf pack. This is the third minecraft server hosted on the Tvtropes forum. It is a vanilla server replete with monsters, dungeons and lots of wolfies. Wolf packs are encouraged. It's a tough world out there.

General Information
Disclaimer: The right to build without monsters is not acknowledged on this server. Wolves are highly encouraged.
Server Hours: 10am-12am California time—or whenever
Ori Doodle wakes up and when she goes to sleep.

Follow these and you stay in the pack. Disobey and be thrown to the wolves
Golden Rule: Don't be a jerk. If you are a jerk do not expect mercy from the wolf pack. You will be eated.
Silver Rule: Asking for things multiple times will only annoy Ori Doodle. The best way to get a lot of stuff is to mine for it. The second best way is to ask once and wait.
An attempt at a player-run economy is in effect on this server. Trade, negotiation and cutthroat bargaining are strongly encouraged.
Server IP:
- This server is private. Oridoodles is the ONLY person with authority to give out the IP. There are NO exceptions to this rule. If I find that the IP has been shared, suspected sharers will be immediately banned without warning. If the server is griefed at any time, the server will be shut down until I have recovered emotionally from the horror.
- To further prevent griefing this server is whitelisted. Requests for the IP should be accompanied by your minecraft username.
Theft:
- Don't take from chests that are not yours.
- Exception: Community chests and chests in the spawn area vaults. Ask before taking.
- TNT is forbidden inside the main settlements.
Fire:
- No burning trees near buildings or burning established forests.
- Do not set fire to others' structures as this will get you banned.
- If you see a runaway fire or accidentally start one, tell the Alpha Wolf or whoever else is on immediately. Please, be careful with Flint and Steel and Lava.
Lava:
- Keep all lava away from flammable blocks. This is disregarded for server dungeons.
- Do not place lava in other peoples' creations or structures; this is a banning offense.
- Do not place lava in heavily populated or wooded areas.
- Remember, Lava burns trees from up to 6 blocks away. Count carefully.
Torches:
- Leave torches that are placed where they are. This is especially important as monsters are usually turned ON in this server. If you want to have torches moved from an area, try and find who placed them in the first place and ask permission, otherwise, ask an Op (listed below).
Property and Territory disputes:
- Do not alter existing structures without permission from the creator. Place a sign up in your area to label it as yours.
- In territory disputes, signs are a deciding factor. Removal of signs to jump a claim is a serious offense. Check your area thoroughly before you begin building.
- Do not resolve disputes yourself. Contact the Alpha Wolf (Ori Doodle). If one of the Ops steps in, Oridoodle will take their word above yours.
Respect:
- Please try to be respectful of everyone and if an Alpha Wolf asks you to do or not do something, please follow their instructions.
- If you have an issue with an Op, do not argue and ask another Op for help.
Large Projects/Mega-Projects:
- Mega-Projects can be a double-edged blade when they're built. They can be good to look at and even useful, but they can also be eyesores and too much of a source of Serious Business. If you want to build a megaproject, you have to get the resources yourself and build it yourself or with people who are willing to help. No operator help will be provided.
- Please note: there is a big difference between Mega-Projects and community projects. Mega-Projects are thought up by one person who has a clear idea in mind—-a full-scale replica of Hyrule castle, for example. Any help the person has will be directed by them. A community project is a location where everyone can build, working under very flexible guidelines towards a common goal—such as a city in the sky in the flavor of Mario Brothers.
Dungeons: Wolfie server encourages players to build large, deadly dungeons filled with treasures and traps. If a player wants to build a dungeon, some materials will be provided.
Notes for Ops
An op on wolfie server is expected to be a well-behaved conscientious player. God games and arrogance will not be tolerated. This is, at heart, a community server. Ops are meant to work with other players on projects, build up community projects and help players as needed.
- Ops should not stock up on gold, diamonds, obsidian or glowstone for their personal use.
- Ops should help a player who truly needs it through the use of TP or /give.
- Ops should not break the rules of the server by giving things endlessly, making it permanent daylight, breaking the player-run trading system, etc.
- Ops should mediate arguments or disputes
- Ops are allowed to ban players as deemed necessary. Banning can be used as a temporary measure for players who are unruly. All bans should be reported via PM to Oridoodle
If you feel that you are banned unfairly, feel free to PM Oridoodle and have your case reviewed. Do not take banning complaints to the fora.
