The Molly Z is a troper from
Middle-of-Nowhere, Alabama, USA. She has never really fit in. She is known for being a theatre geek and a bit of an oddball. When not performing, she has a blunt and open nature. She completely and utterly hates her hometown.
Her childhood was relatively boring, save for growing up with a
black sheep of a
best friend. The Molly Z and said best friend were constantly ridiculed for
their various interests. Her best friend eventually
moved away in sixth grade. However, the two have remained best friends despite the distance and much to her parents' consternation.
The first half of high school for The Molly Z was tedious and rather depressing. The second half, though, was a whirlwind of
high school drama and well
Drama. She made some of her best friends in her junior and senior years. She also became much more self-confident and outspoken thanks to her
English teacher.
The Molly Z is currently in her first year at college. When she first started, she had doubts about attending the college she chose.
She often wondered if she would fit into the Southern Baptist Christian Community. Perhaps not oddly enough, she fits in with the
rest of the students. This may be mostly because it is a
women's college full of
rather unusual women. This is especially obvious in her group of friends she fondly refers to as the Orphans.
All of them have nicknames.
