I am a big fan of shmups. Also of games that are easy to learn and hard to master. Sometimes of games that are
just plain hard to learn, or
just plain unforgivingly realistic. The more moddable a game and the more freedom, the better. Games that are just plain
Mind Screw or
totally insane are also good. I am also quite possibly one of the biggest fanboys of
Hitoshi Sakimoto and
Manabu Namiki to have ever lived, to the point where I'm even a fanboy of one of the later
Basiscape employees,
Kimihiro Abe.
