BiographyHeyup. I'm Sovvolf or commonly known as Steven Skelly. I'm a 19 year old media student from Barnsley in the United Kingdom and I've just recently started to trope. Though I have been lurking here a while and I've even used some of the knowledge or trivia learned from here on my media course at college. I do enjoy reading articles posted on this website and it's helped broaden my imagination for when I start directing my own little films. Knowing what tropes to avoid and when. Once watching a film, I'll always come on here afterwords to find what tropes it follows or avoids. Though to be honest, I've been reading articles on T.V tropes since the early end of November 2009 so I can spot most tropes in a film with the need of the T.V tropes articles. The site as done wonders in improving my genre savvyness. Though I'm still a little new to the whole troping business and writing articles may be a little bit of a pain. Mainly because I'm not sure and what to type to have links pop up and such. Though I guess I'll pick this up over time. When I'm not at college, playing video games or on T.V tropes. I'm often creating 3.D models with Blender 3D. Then posting some of the results on my facebook page or on rare occasions, Youtube. When I'm not doing either of those... I'm probably on one of the sites I occasionally visit, chatting away. Sovvolf is my most commonly used internet alias and if you ever come across a Sovvolf on a website... There's a good chance that it's me. Forums and other places to find Sovvolf around the internet
Sovvolf's DVD shelf
While I still live with my parents due to lack of funds, I opt to pay for my own DVD's. Mainly because other DVD's around the house aren't respected and often end up scratched or missing. So any DVD I purchase goes on my shelf. This folder will contain an ever growing list of films that I've purchased and added to my collection. This collection may not be too big, though I assure you. The DVD collection in this house is massive (most of those films missing)... Only this list only includes films that I've purchased.
