I finally got sick of seeing my name redlinked, so I am making my page. Hmm, what to say here...
Well, I'm a freshman in college, majoring in programming. It's not going so well at the moment, but I'm working my ass off, so hopefully that will change.
I'm a hardcore gamer (but not a "Stop Having Fun" Guy). Currently I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas. I highly recommend it. Also of interest to me at the moment are Fallout2, Fallout3, Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy XIII-2, World of Warcraft, and various old Game Boy Advance games that I'm picking back up on an emulator.
I like pretty much all music besides rap and country, but my favorites are rock and pop. If I had to pick three favorite bands, it'd be Rush, Metallica, and Owl City.
As far as movies go, don't even talk to me if you don't like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I also like Avatar and Advent Children.
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I enjoy Scrubs and MythBusters. I'm also a brony, but if you find my real-life friends and tell them this, I will bathe in your blood with bath salts and a good loofah.
As that last comment revealed, I am a fan of The Order of the Stick, along with several other webcomics, most of which I discovered by using Tv Tropes As A Gateway Drug. They are as follows: XKCD, Darths & Droids, Ménage à 3, MegaTokyo, Awkward Zombie, and Penny Arcade. Although DM of the Rings and 8BitTheater are finished, I have yet to finish my Archive Binge, so I list them here too.
I'm not as big into anime and manga as most tropers seem to be, but I enjoy my fair share, including Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Death Note, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Hikaru no Go. I also enjoy DBZ Abridged, and I've been meaning to check out most of the other abridged series of the above as well.
I am a voracious reader; ever since I can remember, I've always been reading at least one book. Favorites include Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and The Bartimaeus Trilogy. I also like Asimov and Carroll.
