Randomwolf42 is an avid reader and wannabe novelist. He is also exceedingly lazy as well as ignorant of how wiki-code works, so his page is incomplete. He has written a few short stories, mostly unfinished, and he has written a few fanfictions in his dark past, which he considers

- Steampunk: Seems to be a running theme here.
- Literary Agent Hypothesis: An interesting example, the narrator gives his manuscript to the editor, who adds his annotations and publishes it In-Universe.
- Footnote Fever: Used to add humour to the story. Written as a running commentary, with the editor's first impressions upon reading. As such, he is a character himself and does not know future events of the story any more than the reader does.
- Gentleman Thief: Mugs MacMuggins, the Gentleman Mugger.
- Cool Airship: Part of the Author Appeal.
- Mysterious Past: Mugs, little is known about him or why he is a thief, and he's not telling. May also be a Dark and Troubled Past.
- Mary Sue What the author is terrified that Drake (the main character) is or will turn into.
- Happily Adopted: Drake, though he doesn't know it at the beginning.
- Hammerspace: Mentioned by name at one point.
- Lighthouse Point: Planned for future chapters.
- Villain with Good Publicity: Again, planned.
- Sophisticated as Hell: Several characters can be this.
- Ye Olde Butchered English: Lynn, and by extension all Verans, speak like this.
- Fantasy World Map: A rather badly drawn one.
- Absent-minded Professor: Fritz, who appears to be a genius, but more than a little bit crazy.
