Cali is an 19-year-old fangirl of all things 80s, totally born in the wrong decade, with a bit of a fetish for men in drag. She also tends to obsess over villains hard She loves to write, act, and sing, and is a theatre major. She is desperate to someday play Elphaba.
The username comes from one of her favorite David Bowie songs. " I'm an alligator, I'm a mama-poppa comin' for you! I'm a space invader, I'll be a rock n' rollin bitch for you!" Yeah, she's a little bit obsessed.

For all her craziness, she does try to be well-informed about her likes and dislikes, because she, like everyone else is annoyed by Fan Dumb and Hate Dumb.

MoonageDaydream's life includes examples of the following:
- Apologizes a Lot: Comes from the fact that every little thing she does pisses somebody off. It's become a reflex to try and keep from getting her father/roommate/friends/whoever angry. She also has horrible self-esteem, which probably contributes to it.
- Asexuality: And aromantic, too. And very irritated at people who don't understand that no, she will not get into a relationship, thank you very much. Becomes kind of weird when you think of all the fictional characters and celebrities she says she's in love with, but she just has no interest in real people. At all.
- Berserk Button: Don't touch her hair. Ever. And so help you if you call her short, or make any comment at all that could even be implied to be hitting on her.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Normally, she's very even-tempered, and very difficult to make angry. Once you do manage to push a Berserk Button, though... look out.
- Beware the Quiet Ones: Ditto. She rarely speaks, which makes her rages even more frightening.
- Big Friendly Dog: She owns a Rottweiler named Izzy. He thinks he's a lapdog and would rather lick you to death than bite. He barks at people passing on the street, yeah, and that's kind of scary, but once you actually get inside and meet him, he's just a big pussycat. He even purrs when you pet him!
- Bookworm: Well, she has very few friends. Might as well occupy her time with something.
- Born in the Wrong Century: Or decade, whatever. Music that was actually music! Fantasy movies that were so bad it's awesome! Gorgeous guys! She's too young to even have been born then, but she misses the 80s!
- Cats are Mean: Stop clawing and biting me, dammit!
- Cloudcuckoolander: I've been known not to notice when people speak to me because I'm off in my own little world. And yet she wonders why people think she's weird...
- Crazy Cat Lady: Her little sister says this is what her future will be since she doesn't go out much. Only with lizards and turtles since... well... Cats are Mean.
- Cry For The Devil: The tiniest things can get her sympathizing with the most Complete Monsters, even if said reasoning makes no sense to anyone else.
- Dis Continuity: She is inclined to say her first fictional crush was either Jafar, Captain Jack Sparrow, or Sirius Black. In reality, it was Count Olaf. She is highly embarrassed about this fact and isn't quite sure why it happened in the first place.
- Evil Is Sexy: Did you read the above list? Evil Sounds Deep, Evil is Cool, Evil Is Stylish... hnnnngh <3
- Evil Laugh: Her natural laugh can be described as one part Maleficent, one part Ursula, and one part The Wicked Witch of The West. Needless to say, she tries not to laugh as often as she would like to. It scares children.
- Extreme Doormat: You want me to do your dishes and clean our apartment even though you trash it? Fine. You want me to leave my own room so you can have sex with your boyfriend even though he lives alone right below us? No problem. She really needs to stop being such a pushover.
- Expy: There's a reason she wants to be Elphaba so bad. Both are loners, both are ruthless when pursuing a goal, both hate parties, both tend to bite back when someone insults them, both are Determinators. Cali even has the exact vocal range required for the role, and long, wavy dark hair.
- Failed Audition Plot: Most of her efforts to be part of high school theatre. It didn't help that Cali's mother kept sending her director nasty emails about the way he ran his classes. Cali is very thankful for community theatre.
- Forgets To Eat: All the time.
- Friendless Background: A combination of several types- Newcomer (due to three different moves throughout her life), Loner (started out as ostracism, ended up preference because trying always ended in ostracism), Shyness, Lack of Self-Confidence, and (according to most other people) Unattractiveness.
- The Glorious Warof Sisterly Rivalry: Cali is The Smart Sister, even though she's actually older. Danielle is The Beautiful Sister. And oh, man, is there jealousy.
- Goal in Life: As mentioned above, she is working hard to build up her acting resume and talents so she can live her dream of defying gravity
- Hates Being Touched: No reason, she just does.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: Due to being bullied a lot in elementary and middle schools, she kept mostly to herself in high school and managed to go through her first semester of college without speaking to anyone but her roommate. She's getting better, though.
- The Illegible: She has seen five-year-olds with better handwriting.
- Kids Are Cruel: Screw you, grade school.
- No Sense of Direction: Hooooboy.
- Pet Peeve Trope: Dear God, she hates Disney Deaths with a passion. Mainly because almost every movie in the canon has one, and then finally one of her favorite characters nearly gets one... and it's not so Disney. She's bitter.
- Rapunzel Hair: She hasn't cut her hair since she was two years old. Her friends have been known to make her sing Healing Incantation when they watch movies together and a character gets hurt/killed.
- Shrinking Violet: See I Just Want to Have Friends. She kind of gave up on socializing when every effort backfired horribly.
- Teens Are Monsters: The Kids Are Cruel thing never got any better.
- Trademark Favorite Food: She is very rarely seen without a bottle/can of Coca-Cola or Mountain Dew Voltage in her hand. Unhealthy? Yeah, but it sure is delicious!
