Tropers: Lhipenwhe
A simple college student who specializes in history, international politics, and English.

I am mainly devoted by apathy and a need for balance (True Neutral); few things generally cause me to stir and take sides.

Things I've done some to significant work on, or am interested in:
  • Assassin's Creed: A great, improving series of games.
  • Baldur's Gate: My favorite series of RP Gs and game in general
  • Bile Fascination: I like reading crap, hence Tarot below.
  • Bokurano: A hauntingly, often beautiful manga. Superior to Evangelion in every single way
  • City of Heroes: Was addicted to it, moved on
  • Dark Id: A comedic genius
  • Drakengard: Has one of my favorite characters, Caim, in it. We should have more heroes like him.
  • Exalted: A good game, if not the best mechanics-wise
  • The Forever War: Rivals Hyperion as a favorite of mine. Heartrending, powerful, and beautifully written.
  • Hyperion: One of my favorite books, and one of the best I've ever read. Fall of Hyperion is the same, the latter two... not so much.
  • Iaijutsu Practitioner: I am a practitioner of the Muso-Shinden style. It is not mainly a defensive technique, as the trope article says.
  • Irredeemable: Quality matches Kingdom Come; clever storytelling and a breath of fresh air in a often repetitious medium
  • Israel: I'm Jewish, and have a good amount of knowledge on the Middle-East in general.
  • Japan: I'm also Japanese. Go figure.
  • Kingdom Come: An excellent, epic tale of the modern against the old; it plays no favorites, and its emotional finally is incredible.
  • Lord of Light: A cleverly written story, with a strong narrative and excellent writing style.
  • Mass Effect: An awesome game; wish I could've played the first one.
  • My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: One of the best cartoon series running right now.
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion: The only reason this anime is touted as 'the best' is due to its deconstruction of anime tropes in the 90's. It has unlikeable characters, an inanely complex plot, and pointless symbolism by the bucketful. The fact that other anime and manga have been 'inspired' by it irks me to no end.
  • Nostalgia Critic: He, and the rest of the site, are good sources for humor and analysis
  • Planescape: Torment: One of the best games I've ever played. It's a underexposed work of art.
  • Return To Neverend: An underexposed fantasy novel that deserves attention. Currently making the page.
  • Rurouni Kenshin: One of my favorite mangas.
  • School Days: A realistic take on the harem genre, which I generally despise.
  • Sf Debris: One of my favorite online series; funny and intelligent.
  • Star Wars: Used to be my obsession. I still like it and have a encyclopedia-like knowledge of much of it.
  • Sword Of The Stranger: An excellent movie with beautiful music and fight scenes.
  • Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose: Easily the worst comic I've ever had the displeasure of reading.
  • Whateley Universe: A series I used to follow regularly. I tried to pick it up again, and then realized it sucked.
  • Young Justice: Looks to be equal to the DCAU, or approaching it.
