Greetings and good day/evening/nearest equivalent to you. Khrysophylax is the handle I use here, and on a number of other sites.
There isn't very much to be said about me; like most people here I have a considerably wide variety of interests ranging from semi-niche Japanese mecha anime, to popular western video games. Thus far I'm still a relative newcomer to TV Tropes, and far more of a reader than an active participant, but I did help to create the the Silver Resistance trope page originally, being quite a large fan of the fanfiction itself. (Yes, this is a shameless plug for ScytheRider's work. Please do feel free to follow it.)
I'm a 'writer' of profoundly little renown to anyone but my close friends, though I suspect this is principally caused by Attention Deficit Creator Disorder more than anything else. However, I am always looking for ways to improve, and to help and inspire others along the way. My tastes tend toward analysis rather than original creation these days.
I'm also a fairly large fan of Universal Century Gundam in general and especially the newest OVA in the series, Unicorn. I simply cannot say enough good things about it, so if you're fellow UC fan... well, it's likely you'll have already seen it and thus know exactly what I'm talking about. If you haven't, or have never seen/enjoyed Gundam... move along, nothing to see here. ;)

- Death Note: Yes, I'm one of those silly people who thought Light Yagami should have won...

- Battlestar Galactica: Though with the caveat that I pretend seasons three and four never existed.
- Mythbusters
- Law And Order: This is very much a guilty pleasure.
- Alien: There are those who might argue that allowing my ten-year-old self to watch this movie was, perhaps, not the best of ideas. These people are mistaken.
- Terminator: This and the sequel are some of my favorites.
- Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan: This has become fodder for so many terrible memes over the years...
- District 9
- Downfall: He finds this both an interesting (if deeply unsettling) glimpse into the frightening psychology of Hitler and his flunkies in their final days, and (as above) a source for countless Internet parodies.
- Ghostbusters: How can anyone not enjoy this? It and its sequel are the quintessential comedy of the 1980s.
- Night Of The Living Dead
- Sonic The Hedgehog was the first video game this troper had ever played. Sonic 3 And Knuckles was both the high water mark of the series and my uncontested favorite.
- SonicTheHedgehog4 This isn't a bad game, but I still haven't found the time to complete it. >_>
- Fallout: I massively prefer Fallout 1 & 2 over the third, however... which is possibly why I'm such a huge fan of New Vegas.
- Super Robot Wars: In an ironic subversion, perhaps not as much as...
- Another Centurys Episode: Currently, A.C.E. 3 is my favorite mecha game of all time. (Full Armor Nu Gundam HWS, yes!)
- Dynasty Warriors Gundam: For much the same reasons outlined above.
- Star Wars Rogue Squadron: And the sequel (I have not played the threequel).
- Pokemon. Since the release of Yellow, and I'm now of the opinion that the series hit an amazingly high note with Pokemon Black And White. My favorites tend to be a little atypical, however.
- Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: to a perhaps even greater degree than the original titles.
- Neverwinter Nights 2: Though I prefer Mask of the Betrayer over the original to a large degree.
- Dragon Age
- Halo: Though this presents a very large case of internal Your Mileage May Vary .
- Metal Gear Solid

- NightsIntoDreams: This was easily my favorite game on the much-neglected Sega Saturn.

- Gorsecloud's Spanning Time is amazing.
- Netraptor's Sonic fanfics were actually the very first fanfiction my 10-year-old self had ever encountered on the internet. Her website was also probably my first fan-site. She still has one of the most interesting Sonic-verses out there.
- Attention Deficit Creator Disorder: Alas, played painfully straight. I've begun and abandoned enough fanfics to fill a small library...
- Third-Person Person: Ironically not caused by TV Tropes; he has been apt to speak in third person for years and to a degree that is perhaps unhealthy.
