• Speaking of Tim Schafer, he's tipping on the edge of this trope himself. Brütal Legend has been panned just hard enough, and in the right ways, that it's beginning to effect his entire legacy; not helped by sales numbers that were disappointing, given how heavily the game was promoted. When Yahtzee himself, a man who asked his audience to cripple themselves as punishment for not buying a Tim Schafer game, turns around and starts asking if the man lives up to the hype then you know he's on shaky, shaky ground.
