Cthullu(correctly spelled Cthulhu), was created by writer H. P. Lovercraft, and first appeared in The Call Of Cthulhu.
Cthulhu is one of the central Great Old Ones of the Lovecraft Mythos. It is often cited for the extreme descriptions given of its hideous appearance, its gargantuan size, and the abject terror that it evokes. Basically, he's non-christians Satan.
Later made tiny cameos in Lovercraft's other works.
