Eniliad is a tech-oriented person who has lived most of his life with computers and related technology. His first computer was a TANDY running DOS 3.1. He currently runs a Windows Vista/Xubuntu Linux dual-boot machine. He has basic knowledge of Visual Basic, C++, (X)HTML and CSS. His hobbies include playing video games, writing small apps or games, and Dungeons and Dragons style games (specifically, Pathfinder). Action Games, City-Building games, and several
Real Time Strategy games. His favorite series are
Kingdom Hearts,
Knights of the Old Republic, and the
Dark Forces Saga.
Tropes Applying To Eniliad
- An Adventurer Is You: While I do write a few campaigns from time to time, I enjoy playing them far more.
- Black Mage: My favorite class in most RPGs.
- Attention Deficit Creator Disorder: I enjoy making games and small apps in my spare time but I often get distracted before they get finished.
- Damned by Faint Praise: One of my favorite ways of illustrating I don't like something and can't find anything good to say about it.
- Distracted by the Sexy: Averted, and video game creator's attempt to do this annoys me.
- Face Palm: Difficult to actually do, as I wear glasses, but it's one way I tell someone Logical Fallacies.
- Faux Horrific: I joke that un-enjoyable movies, games, etc scare the crap out of me.
- Guy on Guy Is Hot
- Honest Rolls Character: I tend to play these, as the GMs I play with don't build campaigns that require min-maxed characters, so having the best stats is less important.
- Hypocrisy Nod: I tend to notice when I'm being hypocritical, and try to avoid it; if I can't, I point it out.
- I Always Wanted to Say That: Rare, but I like it when I can get in some kind of meme, phrase, etc.
- Lovable Nerd: I think so anyway.
- Kinsey Scale of Tropes: 20/80.
- Nerds Are Sexy: And don't you forget it.
- Sarcasm Mode: I find it more effective than arguing directly.
- Take That
