• Fake Brit: Clovis is voiced by Reba West (who is American) doing a Cockney accent.
• No Export for You: Until Fall 2017, there were no known plans to broadcast the series in the US^note In Canada, it premiered back in August on Family, despite Man of Action Studios being American-based. Some have speculated that this might have been correlated to Miraculous Ladybug being Screwed By Nickelodeon in America and being moved to Netflix after its first season run.^note Part of the complication is that Miraculous airs on rival network Disney Channel in just about everywhere else that isn't America. Disney Channel in the U.S has relegated most of its non-preschool cartoons to Disney XD but, as of 2016, Disney XD was in 16.4 million households less than Disney Channel, meaning the show would have been seen by less viewers had it aired on Disney XD instead of the main channel. Meanwhile, Zak Storm aired on Discovery Channel in some countries, but not the U.S network. While it has been since announced that it would air on KidsClick and Netflix, the former is a programming block that isn't as well-known as Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network.
• Screwed by the Network: The Discovery Family Channel has declined in popularity after taking over from its temporary replacement channel, The Hub, resulting in Zak Storm being virtually unheard of. It also hasn't aired in France, either.
• Series Hiatus: As of February 2019, the most recent episode was Season 1 Episode 31 (out of 39), "Calabrass' Body", which was aired on the Discovery Family Channel in the U.S. on October 13^th, 2018 (all of season 1 is available on Netflix, though).
• What Could Have Been: According to early reports, the show was originally called The 7Cs and Zak was originally named Will Gamble.
