- Follow the Leader: Wonder Woman is well-known as the crime fighting alter-ego of a wealthy businessperson? Hmm, why does that sound familiar?
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: No official release or broadcast of the pilot has ever occurred. Officially released excerpts from the pilot on YouTube and a leaked screener making the rounds are the only ways to experience it.
- Money, Dear Boy: Pedro Pascal recalled in interviews promoting Wonder Woman 1984 that he agreed to do the pilot out of desperation for any gig, good or bad.
- Stillborn Franchise: This could never pass the pilot.
- What Could Have Been: A lot was trimmed from the original script.
- Flashbacks would have established Diana's upbringing and warrior training by the Amazons, and how she met Steve Trevor.
- Diana would have had a best friend named Myndi Mayer, the press secretary at Themyscira Industries. Her character was eventually merged with Etta Candy, Diana’s personal assistant.
- The "Diana Prince" Secret Identity would have had more traits, and hold another job on Themyscira Industries.
- Wonder Woman would have had an evidence and tech support team called the Animals, written as a Ragtag Bunch of Misfits.
- The draft script indicated that the pilot would run commercial-free. (Listen closely and you can hear the ad sales department laughing.)
- Pop songs like "Single Ladies" and "Bad Romance" were going to be included, including a running gag about a lawsuit with Katy Perry for dressing up as Wonder Woman in one of her music videos.
- The Batman Cold Open would have had Wonder Woman run into cosplayers in front of the TCL Chinese Theater, including Buzz Lightyear, SpongeBob SquarePants, Iron Man, and another Wonder Woman. Much Your Costume Needs Work would ensue.
