• Flip-Flop of God: While it's fairly accepted Fanon that Souma is Hime's father, Karino has been surprisingly dodgy about who Kisaki's ex-boyfriend is. She seems to have toyed with the idea in the past as a tool to link the web version of the manga to the serialized version (by showing the two together in high school), she had also gone on to tell her readers to "forget about it". Indeed when the two finally meet in re:Order, Kisaki seems to not recognize him at all. However, she hasn't entirely abandoned the idea, and recent webcomics have the two interacting again, this time in a more familiar manner.
• The Other Darrin: Due to Kisaki's original voice actress, Risa Taneda, being on hiatus, she is voiced by Nana Mizuki in the anime.
• Recast as a Regular: Yūichi Nakamura and Haruka Tomatsu, the voices of main couple Higashida and Miyakoshi respectively, previously voiced siblings Youhei and Mizuki in Wagnaria!!.
