Trivia / Tintin and Alph-Art (Yves Rodier)

Go To

  • Creator Backlash: Yves Rodier has become quite embarrassed by the comic after the years, finding it awkwardly drawn and written (he was only 17 when making it).
  • What Could Have Been: This story very nearly became Ascended Fanon. Bob de Moor (Hergé's latter-day assistant and well-known ligne claire artist himself) was impressed by Rodier's work and proposed collaboration with Rodier to redraw the book further and release it officially. However, Hergé's widow Fanny was against any non-Hergé Tintin releases, and the idea was definitively dropped when de Moor died in 1992.
