• Actor Allusion: Chin talks about on his success story in the Hong Kong Police Force when he started his career as a uniformed officer. This is an allusion to Joe Ma's former career in the force, except that he ended up with the G4 VIP protection unit.
• Backed by the Hong Kong Police Force: The force helped the production crew by providing the necessary props and personnel to help with training the cast.
• What Could Have Been: The final episode of the first season was supposed to end with a bus hijacking. But due to the aftermath of the hostage crisis in Manila where several Hong Kong-born nationals were killed by an ex-police officer in Manila back in 2010 (and at the time, was recent), TVB decided to switch it to a cruise ship to avoid backlash from viewers and potential lawsuits.
• You Might Remember Me from...: A characteristic of TVB shows is that many popular series share the same actors. To cite one example, Joe Ma himself portrayed a HK policeman (Soldier) in the first two seasons of Armed Reaction.
