• Content Leak: The SSV album Go Figure was never officially released, but it was leaked and heavily bootlegged.
• Playing Against Type: The pianist on "1959"? That's Doktor Avalanche. ^note  At least by the same token that the name is given to any drum machine used by Andrew Eldritch — the piano is played with a sequencer, so strictly speaking, since it's programmed by Eldritch, it can be seen as Doktor Avalanche branching out.
• Stunt Casting: Yes, that is Maggie Reilly singing the backing vocals on "Detonation Boulevard," "Something Fast," and "Doctor Jeep." Nobody really knows how that collaboration came about, but the results speak for themselves.
• Troubled Production: First and Last and Always.
• Writer Revolt: After a contract dispute with Time Warner, Eldritch began working on a side project called "Screw Shareholder Value — Not So Much a Band as Another Opportunity to Waste Money on Drugs and Ammunition Courtesy of the Idiots at Time Warner" or S.S.V-N.S.M.A.B.A.A.O.T.W.M.O.D.A.A.C.O.T.I.A.T.W. for short.
