• Breaking News Interruption: The original premiere date of the show on Kids WB was pre-empted for coverage of Princess Diana's funeral.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Due to the show being Screwed by the Network as well as never receiving any kind of home media release, there was a long period of time where very few episodes of the show were publicly available. These were uploaded to YouTube, but the rest had been lost to time, or were only available in a foreign language. It took until August of 2020 for the missing episodes to resurface, which finally made the English dub available in its entirety. A Blu-ray release from Discotek Media was released in 2023.

• The Other Marty: Calamity Jane's original voice Jennifer Jason Leigh was replaced with Barbara Scaff two weeks before the premiere.
• Screwed by the Network: One of the worst examples ever. The series was heavily promoted and many were looking forward to it. But after just three airings, it was quickly taken off the air before it could find an audience.
• What Could Have Been: Jennifer Jason Leigh was originally Calamity Jane's voice. However, two weeks before the show was to premiere, the producers redid the dialogue with Barbara Scaff. Some of Leigh's lines still appear in promotional ads.
