* YouSoundFamiliar: On a meta level. The story was inspired by the fact that the two animes have nearly identical English dub casts, and specifically makes a point of having characters with the same voice actor interact in some way. For example, Tamaki drives Ed crazy (both are voiced by Creator/VicMignogna), while Winry and Haruhi (both voiced by Creator/CaitlinGlass) get along well. And Roy Mustang is frankly creeped out by the fact that Mori sounds exactly like him (both are voiced by Creator/TravisWillingham).

Hey Its That Guy cut by TRS decision. Ditto for Hey Its That Voice. Find another trope.

* HeyItsThatVoice: The entire premise of the crossover was inspired by the fact that the English dubs of the FMA and OHSHC animes have pretty much identical voice casting. {{Lampshaded}} in the way characters who share voice actors interact with each other; for example, Winry and Haruhi (both voiced by Creator/CaitlinGlass) get along well, while Ed can't stand Tamaki (both are voiced by VicMignogna).

* MutuallyFictional: Done halfway. No one from FMA ever mentions anything about OHSHC being fiction; however, when Renge shows up, she's seen reading a volume of the FMA manga.
