• Fake Nationality: Starring Michelle Yeoh, a Malaysian actress, as a PRC agent.
• No Stunt Double: Both Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh, as always. In fact, Yeoh learns how to ride a notorcycle just for this film before performing the motorcycle-on-a-train stunt for the climax by herself.
• On-Set Injury: Jackie Chan jumped from the top of a building onto a rope ladder suspended beneath a helicopter. The ladder then crashed into a billboard, breaking his shoulder.
• You Look Familiar: Stuntman and frequent Jackie Chan collaborator, Mars, played another cop in the first two Police Story films. He appears in this as one of Chaibat's mooks.
