• Creator's Favorite Episode: Kate Mulgrew and John De Lancie love this episode, as they had been friends in real life for over a decade and are clearly having a blast playing up the ridiculous concept of Q trying to talk Janeway into having a kid with him.
• You Look Familiar: Suzie Plakson, who plays the Female Q, had previously appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation as both Enterprise-D medical officer Dr. Selar in Season 2's "The Schizoid Man", as well as Worf's lover K'ehlyr in Season 2's "The Emissary" and Season 4's "Reunion".
