Trivia / Seiren

• All-Star Cast: Inverted. Aside from Atsushi Tamaru and Ayane Sakura, many of the voice actors are newcomers or lesser known voice actors who haven't voiced many leading anime roles.
• Anime First: This series first premiered as an anime, unlike its predecessors, Kimikiss, Amagami, and Photo Kano, which started out as video games that were later adapted into anime.
• Franchise Killer: After the mainstream success of Amagami, Seiren was expected to be a shoe-in for a similar status. Instead, Tsuneki's infamous arc conclusion was so poorly received among the fanbase that it poisoned reception for the other two routes that followed, and tanked a potential season two as well as the story's own visual novel that was planned in the works. To this day, half of the six girls are still route-less with no news of season two to be found.
• Production Posse: Mai Kadowaki returns from Amagami as another side character who's friends with the main characters and plays a part in getting love interests together.
