  • Celebrity Voice Actor: In the Geneon/New Generation dub, Mama is voice by Keith David.
  • The Danza: In the Streamline dub, Steve Long is voiced by Steve Bulen.
  • Dueling Dubs: Streamline Pictures produced and distributed a dub of the first OVA from 1992 to 1993. After the second OVA was released, a dub produced by Pretend Productions and distributed by Orion Home Video in 1997 picked up where Streamline left off. In 2000, a new dub was produced by New Generation Pictures and distributed by Geneon.
  • No Export for You: The final episode of the Pretend/Orion dub of the second OVA was never released in the United States due to Orion's bankruptcy. It was only released in the United Kingdom, where Manga Entertainment held the distribution rights.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • While the Japanese cast has been pretty consistent there were some changes here and there, for starters in the Drama CD's, Shūichi Ikeda voiced Benares while in the OVA's and most of his other appearances he's voiced by Akio Ōtsuka, however in the PC Engine game, Kazuya Ichijō voices him instead.
    • While Megumi Hayashibara has always voiced Pai, Parvati is another story, in the first two Drama CD's, Parvati was initially voiced by Masako Nozawa note , however in the OVA's and pretty much everything else afterwards Megumi Hayashibara has been the de facto voice for both Pai and Parvati.
  • Production Posse: The Geneon/New Generation dub has many members of the Gargoyles alumni, Keith David included. This is thanks to the director of ADR for this dub, that being Gargoyles series creator Greg Weisman. A number of characters in this dub share their voice actors with the cast of the show:
    • Pai (Brigitte Bako) is Angela
    • Jake (Greg Rainwater) is the trickster Coyote
    • Steve is Broadway
    • Monkey (Thom Adcox) is Lexington
    • Ayanokoji is Hudson
  • Series Hiatus: Takada only made 3 chapters for 3×3 Eyes Gaiden, with no bigger plot introduced to make a cliffhanger, this way it is easier to maintain a hiatus for a long time.
