  • Celebrity Voice Actor: Japanese professional wrestler Nobuhiko Takada had here his first feature length voice acting work (voicing Worthington's character in Japan) after a few cameos in other films.
  • Executive Meddling: The was originally a slow burn, three-hour mystery with punctuated by periodic bursts of action. The studio cut the movie down to a more focused, action-oriented 90 minutes, and forced Ayer to shoot a new ending.
  • Fake American:
    • Caroline Brentwood, a Georgia police investigator, is played by English actress Olivia Williams.
    • Then again, Arnie still hasn't completely shed his Austrian accent...
    • Sam Worthington is starting to shed his Australian one, though.
  • Playing Against Type: Practicing Mormon Mirelle Enos as the violent, cheating, psychotic, drug addicted Lizzy.
  • Working Title: The film's script was partially inspired by Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians." In fact, the original title was Ten, possibly until someone remembered there was another film of that name. After briefly existing as Breacher, the final title of Sabotage was agreed on.
