  • What Could Have Been: Resident Evil 0 was initially developed as an Nintendo 64 game due to the short load times that a cartridge medium would have provided for the game's character-switching system compared to the PlayStation's CD-ROM media. After the REmake was announced, development was switched to the Nintendo GameCube to put Zero's graphics on par with it and make the story more consistent. A change for the better, to be sure, but it makes for some interesting Fan Wank at times.
