Trivia / Ren & Stimpy 1x02 "Robin Hoek"/"Nurse Stimpy"

• Alan Smithee: John Kricfalusi was so dissatisfied with "Nurse Stimpy" that he used "Raymond Spum" for the director's credit.
• Creator Backlash: "Nurse Stimpy" turned out so bad, that John Kricfalusi flat out disowned it and refused to put his name on it (crediting himself as "Raymond Spum" instead)—mainly for the cuts Nickelodeon wanted (who axed a good chunk of footage out of the cartoon) and many artistic failings.
  The timing was bad. The drawings are bad. The colors are bad. From an artistic standpoint, to me, it's a really ugly cartoon.
