• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: The demo's original release featured a character named Password Pete in the Mart, who would dispense gifts to players who entered in official passwords; the game's first event Pokémon (a Barilbil) was distributed this way. However, some fans hacked into the demo's code to find additional passwords, and so Password Pete was removed from the game in the first update, replaced with a new Mystery Gift system.
