• Actor Allusion: This isn't the first time Christopher Corey Smith played a role that was previously played by Mark Hamill.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Carl2-D2 was announced in the press release, but is absent from the final product.
  • In the concept art, Meap was going to appear in the cantina scene, but in the end, he is nowhere to be seen. Most likely due to the unavailability of Lorenzo Lamas.
  • Originally, Darth Vader was going to be voiced by his regular understudy, Matthew Sloan. Instead, he is voiced by writer Eddie Pittman, whose impression was closer to James Earl Jones' voice.
• Written by Cast Member:
  • As revealed by Swampy on Twitter, the rant in the middle of "In the Empire" was written by Wayne Brady.
  • Olivia Olson helped write part of "I'm Feeling So Low", her only credit as a songwriter.
