Hey, It's That Voice! - If you haven't noticed, The Ocean Group did the character's voice talents. And all of them did the voicing in several animated shows especially some of the Gundam dubs released. Reading this will make you Go Mad from the Revelation... maybe. So we have:
- Pinkie Pie is Janyse Jaud, aka Sarah, Mocchi and Orange Blossom. This hasn't gone unnoticed.
  - Pinkie Pie also played the role of an alicorn named Eunice in Dragon Tales. Take that as you will...
- Tabitha St Germain, the one who voiced Wysteria, Minty, Scootaloo, Fiesta Flair, Desert Rose, Peachy Pie, Triple Treat, Valenshy, Island Delight, Thistle Whistle and Twinkle Wish did the voice of Heloise, Martha, Shana, Pashmina, Flay Allster and Soma Peries. Taking the Talking To Herself trope to the most extreme!
- G3 Rainbow Dash (RAINBOWS DARLING! RAINBOWS!) is Venus Terzo, aka Ranma and Talia Gladys. Come to think of it, her riding the rainbows makes sense.....in the Minerva! MLP fans knew her better as the tomboy Patch.
- Core 7 Rainbow Dash (Always Dresses in Style!) is Strawberry Shortcake and Miriallia Haw.
- Spike is Vegeta (KAKAROTTOOOO!!!!), Andrew Waltfeld and Zechs Merquise. So now he can go Super Saiyan while piloting both the Tallgeese III and Epyon at the same time?
- Cotton Candy and Core 7 Cheerilee is Louise Halevy. So now they were unstable Innovades piloting a monstrous GN-Drive Tau powered Mobile Armor? Well she is also known as Fashion-centric musician pony Melody.
  - Fashion-centric musician indeed. She's also Barbie...
- Tiddly-Wink and Starsong is Lacus Clyne, Meer Campbell, Feldt Grace, the fourth Madeline, Cassie and Bijou. I guess Starsong's singing talent biologically either came from Lacus, or Madeline.
- Skywishes is Lucrezia Noin. Come to think of it, both Noin and Zechs were reincarnated as a Pony and a Dragon in this Gen. And also, Noin's secret shame on not singing is revealed.
- G3 Rarity is Kati Mannequin. Now who promoted this Unicorn to Captain of the ESF army and decorated everything with Rainbows and Streamers??
  - If you think that's all cracked up, Imagine her as a Dragon Fairy.
- Zipzee and Sweetie Belle is Mileina Vashti, the third Madeline and Emmy. Mileina sounds like Sweetie Belle if she weren't inhaling Helium. This has not gone unnoticed.
- Razaroo is Linda Vashti and Revive Revival. Hard to chew if Revive has a Birthday Book.
- Brights Brightly is Lunamaria Hawke. This definitely has not gone unnoticed.
- Star Catcher is Crowley Hamon. So Star Catcher is a former Zeon Soldier? She is also a wheelchaired dragon.
- Twinkle Twirl, Apple Spice, Daisyjo and Piccolo were once Bon Bon and Hamtaro. Seriously?
- Kimono, Puzzlemint, and Sweetberry were Colonge and the other half of the conjoined dragon twin.
- Daffidazey is Cassie's Younger Brother.
  - Come to think of it, Almost half of the Dragon Tales cast were in G3.
- Tra-La-La is Cloe. Don't imagine her as G3.5 pony for pete's sake!
- Lily Lightly and Toola-Roola were either Stacie, Vera or Judy.
- And of course several G3 actors made the transition to G4.
  - Zipzee and Sweetie Belle. became Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.
  - G3 Rarity became Spike, who has a crush on G4 Rarity, which is somewhat Hilarious in Hindsight, if you know what I mean...
  - Wysteria, Minty, Scootaloo, etc became Rarity, Granny Smith, and LUNA, PRINCESS OF THE NIIIIIGHT! Minty is also Derpy, which is pretty fitting.
  - Kimono, Puzzlemint, and Sweetberry became the GREAT and POWERFUL Trixie.
  - Brights Brightly became Gilda the Griffon and Spitfire the Wonderbolt.
  - Starsong and Tiddly-Wink became Diamond Tiara.
  - Twinkle Twirl, Apple Spice, Daisyjo and Piccolo is Daring-Do.
  - Tra-La-La is Princess Cadance.
  - Lily Lightly and Toola-Roola both became Little Strongheart.
What Could Have Been: Fiesta Flair, a character who appeared in the short Pinkie Pie and the Ladybug Jamboree never made it into toy form. Word Of God says that due to her Mexican accent, name and symbol there might have been backlash that caused Hasbro to rethink her development.
