* AccidentallyCorrectWriting: In one Kenny Craig sketch, the character is playing Scrabble where he sticks a "Y" after the word "cupboard" to spell "cupboardy". While this is meant to show that Kenny is being lazy, it turns out that "cupboardy" is a real word (albeit an obscure one) with usage dating back to the 19th century.

* BabNameTrendKiller: Vicky fell out of favour in the UK in the mid 2000s due to the character of Vicky Pollard, a stupid, obnoxious female [[LowerClassLout chav]] incapable of doing much besides inanely gossiping in a dumb accent.

** ''Walliams And Friend'', which came out in 2016, did an unflattering sketch about ''Little Britain'' which makes it clear that David Walliams regards it as an OldShame. In the sketch, Walliams confesses that he made the series by stealing unused ''Series/HarryEnfieldAndChums'' sketches "from a skip", since he "wasn't even a comedian at the time", while we're shown StylisticSuck ''Little Britain'' "clips" which emphasise the show's racism, ableism, and transphobia ("It's alright to make fun of you for being in a wheelchair because you don't really need one!").
** Matt Lucas, whilst still defending the show, has stated that he would not make fun of transgender people or appear in blackface if he were making the show today, saying that the comedy on display is "crueller" than he would do now.
