* AccidentallyCorrectWriting: In one Kenny Craig sketch, the character is playing Scrabble where he sticks a "Y" after the word "cupboard" to spell "cupboardy". While this is meant to show that Kenny is being lazy, it turns out that "cupboardy" is a real word (albeit an obscure one) with usage dating back to the 19th century.

** ''Walliams And Friend'', which came out in 2016, did an unflattering sketch about ''Little Britain'' which makes it clear that David Walliams regards it as an OldShame. In the sketch, Walliams confesses that he made the series by stealing unused ''Series/HarryEnfieldAndChums'' sketches "from a skip", since he "wasn't even a comedian at the time", while we're shown StylisticSuck ''Little Britain'' "clips" which emphasise the show's racism, ableism, and transphobia ("It's alright to make fun of you for being in a wheelchair because you don't really need one!").
** Matt Lucas, whilst still defending the show, has stated that he would not make fun of transgender people or appear in blackface if he were making the show today, saying that the comedy on display is "crueller" than he would do now.

* FranchiseKiller: The series was already on shaky ground after season three, but the failure of ''Little Britain USA'' and Creator/RickyGervais's campaign against {{Brit Com}}s gaining more popularity officially killed the show.
* RealitySubtext: Matt Lucas is fat and homosexual, both common targets on the show.
* StarMakingRole: This show succeeded in making Matt Lucas and David Walliams well-known names.
* TheOriginalDarrin: When the show was adapted for stage, on some performances Matt Lucas played the Prime Minister for the sketches with Sebastian, which is what he had previously done in the original radio sketches. Averted in other performances which featured Anthony Head as the Prime Minister.
* TheOtherDarrin: In the radio sketches with Prime Minister and Sebastian, the former character was played by Matt Lucas. He was instead played by Anthony Head in when the show was adapted for television.
