- Late Export for You: The original Famicom game was never localized outside of a Fan Translation. However, when the game was compiled for Castlevania Anniversary Collection, it was officially translated.
- What Could Have Been: In Castlevania Anniversary Collection design documents, several proposed titles translate to "Lil' Drac"note , "Dracula Kid", "Ganbare Dracula-kun"note , "Dracula Jr.", and "Dracula-kun's Great Adventure". Also, while most cut scenes were able to be maintained due to being released in a later stage of the NES life cycle, some cuts had to be reluctantly made due to some memory limitations.
