Given that the Jackie character in show speaks with no strong accent, removing this as it apparently doesn't fit.

* BeamMeUpScotty: The line "I don't want no trabble!" is oddly associated with and would sound like it came from this show, but the line actually came from ''Film/RushHour''.

* ActingForTwo:
** James Sie voices Jackie, Chow, and Shendu. Made more interesting when [[DemonicPossession Shendu possesses Jackie]] in "Demon World (Part 1)".
** Creator/ClancyBrown voices Captain Black, Ratso, and Super Moose.
** Xiao Fung and Tso Lan are both voiced by the late Glenn Shadix (who passed away from a head wound from falling in 2010).
** Po Kong and Bai Tza are both voiced by Creator/MonaMarshall.

** When Hak Foo originally debuted in the first season episode "The Dog & Piggy Show", he was voiced by Creator/JimCummings. After he became a regular, starting with season 2, Creator/JohnDiMaggio took over the role. In "Deja Vu", when Jackie relives the events of Hak's debut episode [[FlashbackWithTheOtherDarrin DiMaggio still voices the character]].

Names The Same is no longer a trope

* NamesTheSame:
** Augustus Black is not the same Captain Black from ''Series/CaptainScarletAndTheMysterons''.
** Also, Jade should NOT be confused with the [[Franchise/MortalKombat friend of Kitana]], and you would be a bit dumb to confuse her teacher Mrs. Hartman with DrillSergeantNasty [[Film/FullMetalJacket Hartman]].

** The airing of the ''JCA'' Season 2 premiere "The Stronger Evil" (along with the rest of the Creator/KidsWB lineup for Fall 2001, which included the American debut of ''Anime/YuGiOh'') were postponed by two weeks due to the [[DistancedFromCurrentEvents/SeptemberEleventh 9/11 terrorist attacks]] from Al-Qaeda, which started UsefulNotes/TheWarOnTerror. This was probably due to a trend of censoring and editing out any images of the now-destroyed World Trade Center; for example the next Season 2 episode "The J-Team", which included a brief shot of the NYC skyline. One of the extra episodes that took place during Season 1, "Through the Rabbit Hole" (the final episode in the Season 2 docket), had already aired the Saturday before the attacks, and the other two Season 1 fillers aired in the two weeks where "The Stronger Evil" and "The J-Team" were supposed to air, followed by a Monday episode which debuted Tohru's mother (and the first episode on the production order that follows the "Demon World" episodes), then the season officially began at the end of the month.
