Trivia / Hammerman

  • Genre-Killer: This show, along with the equally short-lived Little Rosey series from the previous (1990-91) season, effectively brought the curtain down on the Celebrity Toons genre popular on Saturday mornings dating back to the end of the early 1970s.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: You have to look fairly hard to find all 13 episodes of the series online, though some are heavily available on Youtube. The current rights holders DHX Media have no plans for a DVD release of the series any time soon. They don't even have it in the company's catalogue.
  • Old Shame: For M.C. Hammer.
