Tweaked wording.

* RoleReprise: Momoko Kochi as Emiko Yamane. Despite Akira Takarada being still-living at this time, his character, Ogata, is never seen or mentioned, implying that he died sometime after the events of 1954. Sadly, this would be Kochi's final reprisal as the character as she died in 1998.

** Another idea that ultimately morphed into this movie was an idea known as "''Godzilla vs. Barubaroi''," a film in which Godzilla (who wasn't having a meltdown) and Junior were to fight a shape-shifting monster known as ''Barubaroi''. The best way to describe this idea was what if Godzilla fought [[Film/TheThing1982 the Thing]] (and no, [[Film/MothraVsGodzilla not that Thing...]]) Anguirus was also considered for this version of the film, as one of Barubaroi's victims.
