• Deleted Scene: The reward for beating the game on the 2016 rerelease for iOS and Android, and getting an A rank on the 25th Anniversary Edition, are scenes that were Dummied Out of the final product.
• In Memoriam: The 25th Anniversary Edition has one in the form of a Sega CD-style blooper reel in which R. Lee Ermey (as Lyle the Handyman) enacts scolding the player in a Game Over scene... before cracking up a bit, both as a fitting end to the game and as a tribute to the actor himself who died of complications from pneumonia months prior to the game's release date.
• What Could Have Been: According to some Deleted Scenes in the Bonus Content section of the 25th Anniversary Edition, there were moments where Eddie would warn the player to not overload the trap system, and if the player overloaded the traps too much, it would be an automatic Game Over. In the final game, however, the only punishment you get for overloading the system, is that you lose control for one or two seconds.
